Team Black Dragon took 11 fighters down to Worcester on Saturday April 7th for an International full contact show. Team coaches Pete Cook and Colin Muress were kept busy for most of the night with preparation and corner duties some very good results.

Tom Smart had a great bout against Lethal Leif Taggert losing on a point’s decision.
Pacey Richards fought well but never seemed to get his techniques going losing on a point’s decision.
Joe Harrison had a slow start and took an eight count in the first round but dominated the next two rounds the verdict went against Joe on a split decision
Justin McRoberts ran out of steam losing on a point’s decision.
Emma Porter had a great fight with a very game opponent but Emma’s strength and power took her to her first win.
Paul Mayfield never looked in danger and did every thing apart from stopping his opponent.
Callum Thompson at just 16years old took on an opponent 10years older and 12kg heavier but with good movement and sharp techniques he took the win comfortably.
Alwyn (big Al) Harris took on an opponent from Malta pushing him back from the start the first round saw some very strong jab’s rocking his opponent, the second round was some of the same with a hurtful front kick coming over the top with a jab cross the fight was stopped due to a broken nose and his opponent not being able to continue.
All fighters gave a very good account of themselves and from these results it shows that we can mix with any one in any style.
