KTBF British Championships
Queens Park Sports Centre, Chesterfield 27th April 2008

Team Dragon had another good weekend with 10 of our squad along with 10 spectators coming along to fly the flag for us.

This tournament was held at the Queens Park Sports centre in Chesterfield and was for the title of British champion along with selection to compete at the WKTA World Championships, which is to be held in October in Tuscany Italy.

Team Dragon showed their skills in Korean Patterns, semi contact and light continuous. At the end of the tournament, there was a team section for Juniors –13 years, Junior 13 and over and Adults. Our Adult team had to withdraw, as one of our fighters received an injury in his individual section. This left two junior teams to fight.

First team up was –13 years with Phoebe Coleman, Imogen Finch and Katharine Clayton reaching the final and showing girl power to easily take the win. Next, the boys were up with Joe Redman, Nathan Coleman and Tom Smart. Once more, our team reached the final and again took the win with ease with some 13 points lead.
