WUMA European Cup Worcester
10th & 11th May 2008

Last weekend saw Team Dragon in action again, this time in Worcester at
the European European championships. The end count was 20 trophies - wow!

Saturday saw the under-16s in action, and as usual all 5 of our students performed well.
The final results for our Juniors are as follows:

Nathan Coleman: 3rd -165cm semi

Phoebe Coleman: 2nd -145cm Semi
3rd Continuous

Jordan Kelham: 3rd -145cm Continuous

Tom Smart: 2nd +165cm Continuous
2nd semi

Imogen Finch went out in the 2nd round in the intermidiate/advanced -135 cm semi, but this was Imogen's first comp in a different section.

The Juniors' results on Saturday left the adults to rise to the challenge on day two.
Sunday's results are as follows:

Pete Cook: 1st Korean Patterns
1st Team Pattern
1st Grand champion
3rd semi openweight
Pete had to run off against the winners from the Kata, Weapon and creative sections to become Grand champion and win £200

Ryan Muress : 1st -65kg continuous
