Partners Rach & Pete become 4th and 5th Dan Black Belts

On January 31st, WUMA held the Hall of Fame awards at Cheltenham racecourse, when Team Dragon had six members inaugurated. Also, the evening is for instructors who have excelled in their Martial Arts field, and are awarded their next Dan grades. These awards are for 4th Dan up.

Rachel Coleman - the senior instructor at the Imp Art school - was awarded her 4th Dan, and I must say, with all the work behind the scenes she deserved this accolade.

Dragons chairman and owner Pete Cook was also honoured, and was called up for his 5th Degree Master Black Belt. This was awarded for his hard work and dedication, not only to his students but to the Martial Arts. Though Pete has only trained for around 23 years, he actually started in 1976. He went on to do football, American football - amongst a lot of other things, only to return to Martial Arts in the late 80's, and since then has never looked back.
